I had all problems with updating you can find in this forum and following worked for me pretty well! Luckily I had a full back-up of my mobile made ust few days before installing Anna! So after getting fed-up with proper update to Anna I went for factory reset "Delete data and restore". After doing that I again updated to Anna voa OVI. All installed OK, office, acrobat, all was lost. Then I just RESTORED frm my full back-up. I got back all my staff and brand new Anna and all working well. Except registration to my OVI account. It is still not signing in... but rest is working fine.

Both Ovi suite and phone software update show no updates, but I'm not sure 2/2 got installed. Update history show no mention of 1/2 and 2/2.

Quickoffice support cannot help and none of their software will install anymore, it was fine before the Anna update.

I managed to update 1/2 & 2/2 without any problems direct to my phone rather than through my laptop via my wireless connection at home. It all looks great so far!

As mentioned here my Log-Application no longer logs data-connection-details. I tried several hard-resets an reinstallations of FW and nothing helped.

Solved the problems with reset the phone and changed date to September. Update again via NSU and not the OVI Suite. After via SW Update on the Phone Anna Update 1 (Office & Adobe) Anna Update 2 (Shazam) , Update Social, Update OVI Store. All is working fine now with out any problem.

This worked for me too... First time I tried updating the phone OS with Ovi Suite and it failed at the Anna Update 1 of 2 stage, but then I rebooted the phone and tried to update it through the "Software Update" feature within the Phone and using wi fi and it sailed smoothly. The only problem that I now face is that I have been downloading Nokia Maps and it reaches as much as 290 MB of 390 MB and then it says connection interrupted, I wonder why it does that? Anna update seems complete and normal with Adobe Reader and Microsoft Communicator et al...

Can anyone advise me a way to download Ovi Maps for my phone? The Ovi Suite fails saying connection error and the phone downloads all the way to 290 MB of 395 MB and then resets? Any ideas?

I have been reading various threads and in the end, I have to say, I gave up trying. I having taken my Nokia N8 (after doing full backup) to the nearest care centre (Carphone Warehouse, Bluewater, Kent, UK) to re-do the firmware. I was not inspired with confidence, though, as they said they were not aware of 'Anna' for the N8 but they will put the latest software they have on it. Oh well, we will see what happens! Now using an old Nokia E70 - awesome, solid as a rock! :-)

Called Carphone Warehouse today, looks like they have sent it off to Nokia as they can't flash the firmware themselves. Shame, because without being notified I am now having to wait 2 weeks instead of 48 hours to get my phone back. I am off on holiday this weekend and am now camera-and satnav-less... thanks CPW. But at least Nokia will do a proper job of it... like only the manufacturer can, I mean. Time to dig out the old Xpress Music 5800 for Ovi Maps!

Yesterday I was installing symbian Anna update in my nokia n8 by using ovi suite in my pc. After that i got two new updates symbian anna1/2 and symbian 2/2, but this time i am unable to download them .
I am using internet by my nokia n8, and when everytime when I use to download these items, ovi suite says no internet connection and installation failed.
And also after the update i lost Adobe, quick office and Nat geo web tv from my phone.
Also everytime after rebooting my phone a msg appears - Phone setup: Features not supported.
I did soft restore, and also install 6 different Qt files from web (as suggested by nokia forums), but nothing is happening, what should i do. Please help me.

I did every thing possible. I did factory restore and delete data, after that i install the Qt files, but still i m facing this problem.

I updated with Ovi suit without problems, and package 1/2 updated well, but I got a download error any time I try do update 2-2

Also tell me how to get back the all web tv i.e: Nat Geo, Ei, CNN, BBC , etc.
