Impressed with Belle so far. Have one significant issue though, my Sky Sports TV has stopped working.
I follow the standard links (I'm with t-mobile) and everything works as previous until the programme starts loading, I get sound but not picture. Nothing wrong with my 3/3.5G signal. I've done a hard reset and the video settings are ok as far as I can tell.
Any suggestions?

Still just hangs playing sound with loading on the screen. Anyone anywhere know why or what to do?

Not running Belle myself so the following advice might not be 100% accurate.
Try Settings > Applications settings > Videos > Access point in use (set to your preferred connection) > Lowest UDP port = 6970 > Highest UDP port = 3200 > Use proxy = No
Now tap Options > Advanced and set each field to it's highest value.
All the best.
Ray.

Thanks for the advice Ray, I assume you meant 32,000 for the highest, won't let me input 3,200? There's no way of going to advanced either on this one. Still getting the same problem, audio is there but no picture just the loading message and a blank screen :/

Sorry, 32,000 is correct not 3,200.
If the advanced options aren't available anymore in Belle I suspect that that is the problem. The advanced options are specifically for setting the video streaming bandwidth of the various connection types.
Ray.

Nokia, the belle update has removed streaming settings. Are you going to do anything about this, any way of fixing your mistake?
2012-03-08 13:13
So, you've updated from Anna to Belle and removed the streaming settings... . Hardly diligent or great attention to detail Nokia. Please, please let me know how to correct YOUR mistake or when and what YOU will be doing to rectify it.

NOKIA any danger of a response? Ignoring this is not going to resolve it is it!?

Hi Gah1977,
Please be reminded that the Sky Sports is a third party application.
The Belle update being a mayor update on your N8, will need all of the third party applications to make adjustments and bring out new versions of their software for Nokia devices running Belle.
Some developers have made this adjustments, some have not yet.
Please feel free to contact the developer of Sky Sports and directly request more information on a update for the Nokia N8 running Belle.

Right, obviously I need to expalin this better to Nokia so thjey can see what the problem is.
Every UK mobile operator has an agreement with Sky to allow streaming of their sports channels for approx £5-£6 per month. The N95 did it, the N86 did it, and my N8 also...until you introduced Belle. None of this was accessed using an app, it was through a link on the operator's website. Since you removed the advanced streaming settings in the Belle update all I get is audio and no visual, just a spinning circle with loading next to it. Any plans to do anything about this Nokia, or are you happy to have made your phone unable to do something that it and previous generations did adequately? Not really the point of an update is it?

I wonder if this is the reason why Virgin have rejected Belle for their N8s?
Given that they include their Virgin media player on their handset, I wonder if the same thing applies and breaks their "value add".

Hi Kosh
Has there been any news or developments in the past 2 weeks?
Thanks
GAH
