phonebook does not sync of course, I decided to live with that...today my N8 decided to RANDOMLY CALL NUMBERS from my phonebook when it automatically connects to my BMW ULF (when I enter the car) - the funniest thing is that it most often selected international numbers, so I have been charged a lot

why can't we have a normal working BT solution from nokia?

Hi, I am interested to hear you had no problem syncing your N8 contacts list within your VXR handsfree.

I have a VXR Astra with the factory fitted handsfree kit using bluetooth and cannot get the N8 contacts to synchronise and show on the handsfree.

Did you do anything specific to faciltate this?

Lexus RX350, carefully choose the phone, and then discover that this much newer phone does not have something that the old phone did perfectly (i used to have  5130 xpressmusic, but switched providers and got C7) -- kind of downer...

BUT ! There is hope!!!

Oro (gold plated C7 with Symbian Anna) and X7 (Symbian Anna as well) both have SDP as profile listed on http://www.forum.nokia.com/Devices/Device_specifications/Oro/ and http://www.forum.nokia.com/Devices/Device_specifications/X7-00/ !

So if PR2.0 will come to N8 and C7, we are in back in (car audio) business!

Just installed Anna on N8 this morning and now connection to Audi bluetooth car phone works like its supposed to. Sweet!

I have a big problem after updating my N8 to Anna, it stopped working with my factory-mounted  bluetooth kit in my Opel Astra H (2007). It seems car no longer can find my N8 while searching bluettoth devices. My N8 can find and pair the car (car bluetooth is called UHP), but after trying to connect, it connects for 2-3 second and then disconnects saying "connection lost" on my N8 (or something like that).

! PLEASE HELP !

I installed Anna (22.14) on my C7 and now it pairs with the Lexus's audio system too.

I have the same problem with an BMW X3. N8 is paired to the car but it cannot connect.

The same problem happens with the JAMBOX speaker. It pairs but afterwards it is unable to connect.

Please issue a new firmware update to fix this !!

finally I could solve my bluetooth problem. What I did step by step are:

1. delete the pairing from both my car and phone.

2. restart my phone.

3. switch on the car's bluetooth.

4. switch on phone's bluetooth and keep it "Shown to all".

5. keep the car's bluetooth in searching for pairing mode.

6. At that time start search from phone for pairing.

7. Phone finds car for pairing and punch in the code to pair.

Now my calls from car is working fine as before.

Hi everyone,

I have a N8 and the Parrot MKI9200 installed in my car. I read here that some one else is having the same issuse I am having. Every time I receive a call and the call ends it begins playing my music instead of going back to internet radio. I am also having and issue when I stream internet radio through bluetooth if the station buffers it disconnects from the MKI9200 please let me know if there are any fixes. Thanks in advance

Just tried this with my N8 and my contacts now sync with my Alpine KCE-400BT unit, thanks alot.

Why couldn't Nokias useless customer support guide me to this.

My N8 contacts won't sync with my Audi car kit.....is there a download fix for this???  VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

If you go to Menu > Settings > Bluetooth - is Remote SIM mode = ON?
