it is because other people are also using the ovi store and they are the same apps which they donwload...

 

it is probably only free for n8 users (as an incentive from nokia) via the update process

Nokia never said  Asphalt 5 will be free.In there press release they said  3 games like NFS HD,REAL GOLF HD,GALAXY ON FIRE will be made available in pr1.1.But those games are already available for free.In some countries nfs will be replaced by asphalt 5

b. Three high quality games will also be preloaded on new devices – Need for Speed Shift, Real Golf and Galaxy on Fire. (In some countries, Need for Speed is replaced with Asphalt 5). For current N8 users, these are available for free from Ovi Suite & Ovi Store.

 

This was on conversations.nokia.com

 

So in which countries Asphalt 5 HD can be downloaded for free from Ovi Store.
