All of a sudden i have a problem with Ovi store on Nokia N8. When i want to open Ovi store it starts with OVI Nokia screen and then after 15 seconds it just shuts down. And also I can't reinstall OVI store. Anyone having same problem?

this is one sololution to make Ovi store work,have not tried my self but read about It and It should work..try If you like..let me now If It work..

If ovi store exist unistall go to menu/setting/applicationmanger/installed apps

then download Qt package Qt_4_7_for_Symbian_3_Developer_Version_v1_0_en from wiki.forum.nokia.com

there are 2 zip files in it (qt 4.7 and qt 4.6),select qt 4.6 for symbian 2 files in it qt sis and qt webkit sis install both,

restart phone, after that go to menu/web/ovi when it open ask for download ovi store click the link

then ovi store will be reinstalled,restart your phone and it works fine.

The problem is I can't uninstall Ovi store. When I press uninstall, nothing happens.

I've installed qt_4_7_0_opengl.SIS and qtwebkit_2_1.SIS, but it doesn't help. Should I try to install also 4.6 version of qt and webkit? Anyway I don't want to hard reset the phone just now, but if nothing else will help, i will just have to do that.

I have remembered something. Maybe the problem is, because i've uninstalled Ovi Store Installer from Installed Application, which was there from the beggining? I uninstalled it because I thought it is just an installer for Ovi store and that the phone has no use from it.

In the instruction it says qt 4.6      " DO NOT  INSTALL qt 4.7"

I know it says qt 4.6, but I was installing qt4.7 before your answer.

Anyway, the problem is that i can't uninstall ovi store. I also installed 4.6 and it didn't help.

I've found several files in C:\resource\apps\:

ovistore_2002D07F_aif.mif

ovistore_2002D07F.mbm

and

ovistore_2002D07F.r01 to .r96.

Should i try to delete this files?

this method doesnt work with my N8 I still cannot install ovi store which is bringing me a lot of hassle and almost frustruation, can anyone help in installing back ovi store in N8?

and to get Ovi store stuff to your computer

1..log in to ovi store on your computer

2..choose what you like..(I think It only work with free stuff)

3..press "send to friend"

4..When "send-to-friend" is on yur webbrowser..delete it and type "download" insteed and you can down load to your computer...
