Hi to N8 users,

I have just updated my N8 to belle refresh. Unfortunately, after updating it my N8 home screen is working as before; I can't add any shortcuts or widgets to the home screen BUT I can take out the existing shortcuts and widgets.

Is there anybody experiencing the same issue here? Please help...

even worse right now, I just notice that I can't even add new home screens...

Try reinstalling Belle Refresh via Nokia Suite. If it doesn't help, you may need to reset your device in Settings > Phone > Phone management > Factory settings.  Try first the Restore command and, if  still problems, try then Delete data and restore. Remember to take a backup before using the Delete data and restore command!

Have you found any solutions? I've tried deleting all home screens but nothing helped. I've been using my phone sans widget for a time now.

I am facing the same problem i.e. my home screen is not working( on taping widgets are not opening) . reinstalled belle but nothing happened and also did step above....

Are the other actions working? Changing screens, notification pull down, calls etc.
There used to be an option to disable widgets on the home screen options menu but I can't see it any more, perhaps it went with refresh.
Can you remove the widgets by long pressing?
Try removing them, do the battery out reset, power off and hold the power button until you feel three vibrations, leave it 30 second then restart, them put the widgets back.
