N80 manual

Hello!
N80 manual doesn't include any information about light sensor indicator. In life it lights with blue blinking light. Any views on this?
I checked English and Russian versions of manual. There is nothing. Flash demo says about that. But in the life that's not enough.

Re: N80 manual

Hiya, the blinking blue light tells u the phone is in sleep mode rather than switched off (as the screen is blankety blank when asleep)...

the sensor is there as well; this sensor is responsible for the keypad backlight to be on or off depending on how much ambient light there is...

I would love to be able to turn it off when in sleep mode. It keeps me awake at night blinking away.
Is that an N95 in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?!?

Re: N80 manual

If the blue light blinked a little faster my room would look like a crime scene at night, all I would need is the police tape :smileyhappy:

Re: N80 manual

When I first got the N80 it was in sleep mode as factory settings. About 2 in the morning I was just nodding off and it started blinking away. I couldn't work out whether I was about to get arrested or if I was having a disco!

Re: N80 manual

I believe the little blue light stops flashing if you plug the handset in for charging.

Or you could disable 'sleep mode' but then you'd have to live with shorter battery life.

I would love this led if it would have a more usefull functions - like BT and Wi-Fi states. And be multicolor.
As to N80 User Manual... :smileyhappy: :smileyhappy: :smileyhappy: My little son said me: "I don't understand anything from it". Although he is a hi-experienced Smartphone's user.

Re: N80 manual

Hi guys!
Thanks to steve_p and u5ernam3. I’d like to recommend Nokia to include these comments to the user manual. Thanks to the rest people who replied on my post. It was interesting.
