I installed an application on my N82. But when i start the application the phone asks a dozen times if it can read and/or write data from/to the memory card before it starts the app.
Does someone know where I can find the "access data" settings on an N82 so I can change it to "allow all"?
Thanks

If you do not mind can you pl. give details of this application ? BTW isn't there an option provided to say 'OK' .. when the message pops up ?-

Hi Oblomov01,
A Java app, a few years old?
Then you may find inspiration for the security settings at
http://bermin.org/enable_access.html
It may also be necessary to find and install the root certificate WeTravel used to sign the app, if any.
Java security and certificate settings are complex, and the Moby Explorer still asks for permission the first time it needs to access files or the network on my phone. That is far better than being asked every time!
Best regards,
Hans

Hi Oblomov01,
There is a way to set access data to allow and what you need to do is go to application manager that can be found in either settings or application folder. Once you open the application manager navigate to the name of the application that you want and in your case the name of your application will be WeTravel and once you there click on the center button on the navigation keypad and select suite settings and go to read user data and select ask first time only and from there you can change the settings for network connection to the desired access point that you want the application to use and on network access I personally prefer to use ask first time only and on connectivity select always allowed to minimize popups that are asking for permissions.
I hope that it will solve your problem.

Thanks fot the reply. But I can't find the settings it on the N82. On the C2-01 and an other nokia phone I had this app running I could find it. It must be somewhere else. But where?

Hi Oblomov01,
In order to find these settings go to applications folder or tools folder then look for application manager. Once you have found application manager open it and remember that there are some applications that have the suite settings options while other applications do not have suite settings options. For example see the file attached below. The screenshots captured are from Nokia N82. I hope that it solves your problem.
