Two weeks before noticed that my N82's battery draining fast than usual which was atleast last a day with normal use. I thought might be any application which is draining my battery so i removed all applications. But then too it was behaving the same. Then one day i decided to use my phone without the memory card (Sandisk 8GB) with normal usage. Oh! It worked fine. So i though might be the card is having problem so i formatted my card today. And now trying to get my conclusion till tomorrow. Can anyone tell whats causing my battery to drain fast and it has become to 12hrs where before it was 24hrs.
NB-
I have tried everything to format my device itself from soft reset to hard reset but nothing came out of it.
Also don't feel that the battery is having any problem
Thanks for your support.

you can also try to install this and see how and what and when consumes your power. do you have the latest firmware on your phone? did you try your phone with another memory card? it could be that your memory card got damaged/corrupted and tho you can format it, it does not 'like' to be in your phone anymore? and yes a walk to nokia care might not be a bad idea but i would try those things before i take it.

Most power problems are often caused by a the network condition, a change in the users habits or a defective battery. In rare circumstances it can be faulty hardware in the phone or even the charger.
How can you be so certain that it's not the battery?
Batteries only have a finite life and can become defective at any time. Other factors could have also affected the batteries life span, such as exposure to high temperatures (for example left in direct sunlight for an extended period).
Network performance can also have a massive effect on battery life. For example if you are constantly in a medium to poor signal area your battery will drain much quicker. This can happen when using standard GSM networks or 3G networks, which cause even more of a drain.
Rebooting a phone also causes a large drain, so if you are switching your phone off several times a day that will be the cause.
Having the screen set brighter or lit more often will also cause a big drain.
