Does anyone else have a problem with their nokia N91. I bought my phone in July 2006 and from the day i bought it the phone has often robooted itself numerous times a day. Some days it will not reboot, other days it reboots 4-5 times. The reboots can occur when the phone is in use, however it also occurs when the phone is not being used for calls or music. I have taken the phone to be repaired and was advised that the software needed to be updated on the phone. I was advised this was done, however the problem occured again that very afternoon.

My phone has firmware version v.2.10.013 which i believe is the latest firmware version available.

Is it just me, or is anyone else having this issue ??

Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive had a N91 and N90 and N70 all from when they first became available and ive never ever had any of the problems that i read about in these forums

The reboot could also be provoked by some third part software... See also that possibility!

yes it was, shortly after posting that, i connected the N91 to pc suite only for it and my laptop to crash lol i wont be saying anything like that again

I agree about the 3rd party software, up until the end of November I wasnt using any programmes but have recently added Handy Clock, Windows Live Messenger, courtesy of Nokia Hong Kong website and they are all fine,

Since July at least two newer firmwares have been released for the N91.

Try Nokia Software Updater to update the firmware. That should improve a number of problems that may be causing your resets.

At the minimum the updater will re-format the phone so you can start fresh...

I recommend that you don't install Applications or Themes in the HDD use the phone memory instead. It makes it more stable.

hi Stephen. this proplem acures duo to many proplems but the most common proplems is 1- u have download a new program on ur phone that works in the background like ( ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS) and this prog. isn't compatible with ur divice so u have to seach for this program and uninstall it from the application manger.........2-the metal connects that is between the phone and the battry is dirty or disconnect due to the normal shake of the phone in our hands while makind a call ao any other operation so u have to clean this metal connectors and to be sure that they are well connected to each other and give the batt. a good charge and at the end i hope to be helpin u..my regards
