N95 Bookmark Manager

Does anyone know how to nest bookmarks in folders within bookmark manager?

I'm trying to put all those vodafone live style links into a single folder called 'vodafone live'. But all bookmark manager allows with it's 'move' function is to change the order that the links appear in.

I also tried using IE favourites manager to set up the sync'd 'Mobile Favourites' in the way I wanted, which did work on the PC obviously, but the N95 PC Sync software (6.85.12.0) ignores these settings. Worse still it actually duplicates the bookmarks in both locations, phone and PC.

Have you not spotted the "Move to Folder" option? If you don't have that, then perhaps its something that only arrived in the latest firmware. I don't know since I only used the bookmark manager after I upgraded to v20.

Nah, I only have 3 options... :-(

Move
New Folder
Add Bookmark

Can you remind me how I find the version of software installed on the N95 is?

Cheers

[edit]Ah, I do have a 'Move to Folder' option, but only for links, not nesting one folder inside another.

So all those vodafone folders:-

Download [this that and the other] can't be moved into a folder of my choosing. In fact I can't even delete them having found one of them doesn't have any bookmarks in it anyway. These are looking more like some vodafone pre-configured folders that I can't do anything with. Good grief that's pants!! [/edit]

Re: N95 Bookmark Manager

The provider ones can not be moved to another folder. If you bookmark a general page (google for example) you will find you are able to move that to folders.

The best way to get a quick response is to use the boards. Please do not be offended if I don't answer emails immediately.

Yup, sure looking that way :-(

Think I might get me self one of those HTC TyTN II's when this contract expires ;-)

I'm getting more than a little frustrated at the standard of software provided via vodafone for their branded N95!!

Re: N95 Bookmark Manager

Hello Hyde_tds, if you install software such as SkyeQuiKey then the web browser bookmarks have little use any more.

SkyeQuiKey lets you select contacts, applications and web browser bookmarks from the N95 home screen using T9 predictive text input.

I love it. It transforms the way you use your phone, but it's quite expensive.
