Hello everyone, I would like to know whether a 16 GB memory card can be used on a Nokia 96. Thanks in advance !

I think its posible, I use a 16gb card in my N96 with no problems.

microSDHC has a theoretical limit of 32gb, but these capacity memory cards not released yet . however, the stated limits for the memory cards provided are not always correct, but rest assured that the N96 will take 16gb memory cards...so you would have no problem. it is also recommended that if you do purchase a card, to purchase one from a reputable brand such as SanDisk or Kingston, and is at least class 4. other users have documented problems using class 2 cards, as data transfer speeds are too slow resulting in possible corruption of the memory card.

My card is a Class 2 and I find it a little slow, but it works.

Class 4 SDHC cards are ideal to use in mobile phones to get the required speed from it.
