N97 Memory full close some applications. But there is no applications running in my phone. And sometimes programs not loading coz memory full. With out loading any programs I used a opera and says memory full programs exit. N97 haven't got enough memory to work with programs. And Apple Phone is working better than n97. Please can any one hear to sole my problem. I just brought as new... Phone is not enough fast for me.. Even N5800 faster than n97... Any ROM patcher for N97 ? I had upgrade to 20v already...

what u should do is perform a 'hard reset'

makeusure you backup ur phone 1st & key in  *#7370#---the security should be 12345

this would fllush your c:/ drive

The user has a problem with MEMORY, there's a difference.

I have a similar problem. If I reboot my phone I'll have about 35Mb of free ram. After running some apps and then closing them, my ram never seems to return back to what it was. Fring seems to chomp about 7mb's of ram which leaves little else when you have the Mail for Exchange and aAccuweather widgets running too.

Does anybody know where all this ram disappears to? Or of a way to free some up?

On the occasions I've had memory full warning it was when trying to open new message/inbox. It was solved by rebooting phone without allowing AccuWeather (my only live homescreen widget) to connect. Then I could retrieve messages and connect widget. So in my case it seemed to be widget causing the problem.

I have a n73 that gives me a message as soon as i turn it on that the memory is full and to delete some data...Iv done some research and this is common with nokia phones that have an app called 'lifeblog' this app saves information about what you do daily (txting, emails not sure what exactly) so yeah it saves it and thats what all the memory is used for (im not 100% on this but its still some information that could be helpful) if you can (im saying if u can because if ur memory is FULL then you can't access lifeblog) so if u can then open that app and delete all that saved info
