Callers name or SMS sender names stop to appear although from contact.
I have to restore factory setting and then it will appear.
Its happening every 3-4 hours again and again.
I am having 505 and v12.0.024.
Contact using both memories - phone and sim.
Any Idea?

It is not seem to be the case.
1. It happening at once, mean same number which appear by name now will stop to appear after one hour.
2. It is all the numbers, not some of.
3. After re setting factory its solved but return again after some time.
Any other idea?

if you are using your phone with this website all you have to do when you are replying to posts is click on EDIT AS HTML on the top of the reply box and the issue is solved. its not n97 issue its the site's issue.
see i have my contacts on my sim card only and i have no issues with caller names, hence my deduction that something else is going on here.

No duplicates or any of these reason.
Nokia service here told me to come on Monday to replace phone.

Ok well nice to know about the workaround (CAPS PROBLEM). However, since on my laptop I don't have to click "Edit as HTML" and on my N97 I have to, I would say the bug is in N97.
About the caller name not appearing issue: are U guys serious that only workaround is to replace the phone?

lol its a mobile site issue not a laptop or pc issue. i have it on my itouch when i use the boards, and on every n series i own
so NO it is not an n97 exclusive issue.
yes i am afraid that in some cases that might be the only way to go
you can also try there make sure you back up your data first
1. *#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default ( you will not lose any data)
If these codes are not working the only thing for you to do is contact your Nokia Care Center/Service for assistance.
