For me, Belle update basically went quite smooth but there is one thing that is missing for me: when long pressing an image in Galery (or a file in file manger), with Anna it was possible to choose send..and then you had the choices:

- as Message

- via Bluetooth

- as E-Mail.

Now, after upgrading to Belle, when selecting "send" then there's a new looking popup menu that just holds on entry: as Message.

Anyone else having the same issue? Otherwise Bluetooth is working fine...and also when using Y-Tasks, there the Bluetooth OBEX transfer is available and works fine - just the options in the original UI seem have to be gone...anyone the same problem?

Thanks a lot, that is exactly what I meant, on my N8 there is the same dialog but just one entry in: "Via message". No error message, no strange effects or behaviour otherwise. Seems very strange, anyone an idea or the same effect?

Edit: I have an idea which I will report back: I am not in my home net so "mobile data usage" and bluetooth are turned off, I wil check if its in correspondence with that. Or maybe just in my country variant? Its a 0599762, euro2, dark grey...any help would be highly appreciated...

Try to install the Belle again. For me they are available all three options.

@kemily1234: Let's find out if find something similar which could lead us to the reason (and then maybe to the right solution) for this problem: What is your variant/country code? (*#0000#, then on this screen product code).

The update procedure went very smooth, no error message, no stucking, just as intended. Also, I do not have any other issues than this one, therefore I believe it is a systematic issue that can not be solved by installing once again or hard reset. I list some facts which my differ from a "average" phone and it would be interesting if one of them is true for your N8 too:

- I upgraded from ANNA 25.7 to Belle, all available Updates have been made

- Before the update i had the following beta software from the Nokia beta labs installed:

-Camera Update for N8

-latest available OVI store from beta labs

-latest available Swype with german Dic from beta labs

- after the update, I first installed the search widget update that was offered OTA on the N8, there also no issues.

- then I reinstalled first the latest beta store again and then swype and swype dic german, which by the way, got lost with the belle update along with some more installed apps

- Then I try to re-install my apps and had a little issue, that was kind of "self-healing" at last, see here:

After that problem had disappeared as described in my post above I was re-installing all my apps from ovi store and everything was just fine - until I wanted to send a taken photograph to a colleage - in that situation I realized that the 2 items were missing in the send function. But, funny enough, no other Bluetooth related trouble: pairing works fine with PC, Mac and car kit. E-Mail and messaging, WLAN, Mobile Data - everything fine!

So is there anything that is true for your setup, too? Very strange...

Sorry for grammar. :-)
Had the same problem. It solved for me like that: i had changed phone language from russian to english, and "via Bluetooth" appeared. Phone restarted during this process. Than i back again to russian and via bluetooth still in options :-)
Maybe rebooting helpedn maybe changing language.
