Nokia 500 and C5-03, same battery type?

Didn't find answer from elsewhere. Both uses BL-4U-batteries but are there still some differences or do they use exactly the same kind? Can I put a battery from C5-03 to 500, without any malfunctions?

If you compare specifications under "Power management" there is slight difference quoted http://www.developer.nokia.com/Devices/Device_specifications/500/ and http://www.developer.nokia.com/Devices/Device_specifications/C5-03/

Seem to remember reading that due to improvements in battery technology more recent stock has slightly improved capacity as quoted for 500.

If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white kudos star would always be appreciated.

Yes, I checked it and the model name/type is the same but numbers aren't.. So I guess those batteries are not suitable to both phones. I did not find a place where I could ask it straight from someone from Nokia.

Since the batteries are the same type/model, it will work with the two devices. However, there is a slight difference between the two batteries which is their mAh (milliampere-hour). The Noka 500's battery has 1110 mAh while the C5-03's has 1000mAh only. So expect some changes of the battery life if you switch batteries.
