Hi i forgot my Lock Code or security lock code for nokia 5230

Even i cant Reset or Hard reset it .

Default code 12345 is not working either...

any advise?

The ONLY way to get it Reset to the default 12345 is thru' Nokia Care. A proof of ownership (Bill / Invoice) may be asked...

then you need to go to a Nokia Care Point. Only these can unlock your phone without the lock code.

You can Goto Nokia Care Office and tell them about your problems they will Unlock it but you need to show them The Receipt of the Purchase for knowing that you actually owned it.

Hai, I have a Nokia 5230 mobile. I had a memory card 2gb and I had my fab music and videos in it and I lost it .so can I retrieve the files through phone because I played those videos lot of times. And I did the hard reset and my Nokia phone memory will erased permanently or not? Anyone plz help me

If the videos were saved on the card then there is no way to retrieve it from the phone, unless you saved a copy to the phone as well. Hard reset will permanently erase the phone memory.

My phone memory is 70mb. And how to set a copy to phone memory.i press green+red+camera+power buttons for hard reset is it same as some *#7864 like that? Or combination of buttons is diff from MSG type reset? What happen when hard reset?

Hard reset is the one when you press all the buttons and the phone reverts to its out of the box state.

MSG type and buttons hard reset are same or different?And I have a video about 1.9 gb size when I connected it to my laptop the video crashed and size is 404mb and I delete it from card. Can I retrieve it? Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what you mean by "MSG type". There are 3 different resets andthey are all different.  The buttons reset is the highest level reset.

File is not retrievable by normal means once deleted from the memory card. You could try a data recovery specialist but it will probably cost.

Hai !if I have a song with 3mb in card and the same song is in phone memory then we lost card we can play the song through phone. Right? When I hard reset it is asking which country you are going to select and time zone and date and time. I entered all the details the home screen appeared that's it ? Or do I need to do anything else? All my phone memory erased permanently or partially ?any third person can retrieve my data if I sell to him? If song is in both card and phone memory then yes you can play song without card. After hard reset, phone is like the first day you got it. It will ask you for country, time zone etc. Just follow instructions. All data is permanently erased. You can sell the phone.

If my phone memory is 70 mb and and card is about 2 gb and the I remove the card from phone so I can't get my videos and music through phone memory and my phone will store any content automatically regarding the played content and just snap shots and small videos if any? So I can't store copy of card videos in phone right bcoz size matters. And u said once deleted the file u can't retrieve it back right? Is it true ?

In Nokia lumia whenever we Play the video and pause the video it is playing from first ! Is it software problem or any factory problem?
