Hi,
To download the Firmware Update for ur Nokia 5233 , first connect ur phone to the PC through a USB Cable and Select Ovi Suite Mode on ur phone screen when USB connection option comes up.
Once Ovi Suite connects with ur phone , select Tools > Software updates.
Follow the Instructions given on the screen. 
The option "Tools" has to be selected in the Ovi Suite by the way...
The button next to the Ovi Maps ( Green Compass Icon) which is a Green Arrow in a White Box background gives u an easy access to Software Update.
If Ovi Suite detects an update from the Nokia server , a Violet bubble is visible above the Software Update Icon.
Type *#0000# in ur phone.
Device Updates opens ... Click Options and select Check for Updates.
*Ensure that u have a GPRS data plan before doing this.
Then u can download the firmware.
I've updated my Nokia 5233 via Ovi Suite and although it took me a while ... It updated the Firmware Successfully.
The Firmware Version 50.1.001 has been released in India... U should be able to download it.
If not , wait for a few days and try again.
Last but not the least ...
The best option is to go to the nearest Nokia Care Centre and request them to update it for u.
i cant find updates i have tried all the methods i.e via phone, ovi suite and sw updater but in vain. i am from india plz help
