Not an error it is only available to third party applications utilising it such as SCam in Nokia Store:http://store.ovi.com/content/249918

Symbian specialist until 31/01/2013 with interests in Maemo & MeeGo but an aversion to Windows!

I use the front camera on Nokia 701 for video calling, works alright.

That is the main thing I think, cant see any other use of it cause of the much better back camera when taking photos or video recording...Am I missing something important?

 Yes

But why was it there before this FP2 seem a dowgrade for 70 as camarea has  no fixed settings to use  max  Meg Pixel and we dont seem to have as many options plus no exit button

Download SCam from Nokia store to use the front camera.

Alternatively, there is "Front Camera 808" application for "FP2" devices: http://store.ovi.com/content/340379 - supports both orientations, photo, video, mirror and zoom

i have updated my nokia 701 to belle fp2, now my mobile is fully updated, but there is no mirror widget for front camera and other. Now what should i do ?
