Nokia 808 PV - not connecting to operator network in 3G mode

Hallo!

 

2 days ago my phone suddenly lost connection to Network. I usually use only 3G mode all setting are manual. When switched to GSM mode all is normal. Switching back to 3G causes same network not found issue. Performed SOFT reset, removed and cleaned SIM - nothing helps. At the same time my N8 with same operator is fine on both 3G and GSM modes.

 

I will replace SIM in few days but I am sure it is not the case. If anyone had similar or has some ideas what else to try pls share!

hi mate,

have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your device, via Nokia Suite on PC? if there are any, please update to latest version offered. failing that, try re-installing your current firmware thru Nokia Suite.

failing the above, you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care for inspection: http://nokia.com/support

Some operators doesnot provide 3G unless you have activated 3G services.

Maybe that could be the reason.

You need to call your customer care for better resolution on this matter.
