Nokia E5 SoftAP

I have a Nokia E5 and a laptop with Windows 8 installed. I created a soft AP using:

"netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=mynet key=mypassword" 

command. My Nokia E5 finds and connects to the access point I created and also the automatic "internet connectivity check" completes successfully. Everything seems to work up to this point.

 

However, when I try to browse the internet I get the following error:

"Browser unable to connect to website: www.something.com"

 

I could not figure out why this is happenning. Is it because Nokia E5 does not support soft AP, or is there a problem with my phone?

 

NOTE: My friend can connect to internet through this access point with his smartphone and it works perfectly. So there is no problem with my laptops internet connection or the soft AP.
