Since I updated my N8 with Belle (about 4 months ago now), I have had problems connecting to services. My maps and whatsapp work fine, but the Store, Shazam, Social and additional maps apps (check in, public transport etc) don't work. They all give the same error (cannot connect as there is not an active internet connection), even though my wifi is on and I can use my other apps just fine. The same apps don't work when I am using normal mobile data as well. After installing the Microsoft Apps tonight and trying to use my Live ID to sign in for OneNote, it also gave the same error of being unable to find a connection. Will I have to reinstall Belle?

Have you tried restarting your device and seeing if your apps work again? Also please try and reinstall each app individually or get the latest updates for the applications on Nokia suite.
Before reinstalling the OS I suggest that you first try a soft reset using the code *#7780# security code 12345 if prompted, this will not delete any data however it will reset your device settings.
If they are still not working after the soft reset please continue to reinstall the OS using Nokia Suite.

I should be clearer - the apps that I mentioned that don't work, have not been working (i.e. unable to detect the active internet connection) since I upgraded to Belle a few months ago. I had no problems on Anna. What puzzles me is that certain apps, like the Maps etc can access the connection, while others can't. My Store also refuses to install via Nokia Suite. I have tried reinstalling the others but it has not helped. I'll try a soft reset now and see what happens.
