Nokia RDA is a site for testing firmwares...you can test online....

Remote device access still not working/ i reinstall java and deleted the old version and i press start on a fone, it loads and then closes its self. i want to check out X6 in 9 mins

nokia n97 software update 2.0 is good. it makes everything easier.however, few things iwant to clear.since we updated nokia n97 howcome my phone when using internet keeps turn on and on or something the phone hang. i love my nokia n97 but i heard here in my country, philippines most of it complain about phone hang or it sudden turns off and on. hope nokia will do something about it other that bringing the unit to nokia care since most of the unit are new and in good condition. thanks.

Just did a check, I saw Map 3.0 Application update, but not the system software.

I thought V12 come with Map 3.0?

Updated : Confirmed. My bad.... V12 come with Map 2.0, now Map 3.0 (*new) is available for download. I wonder.....

ok now heres is my message::::

I RECENTLY BOUGHT MY N97 A QUITE MONTH AGO, WHICH IS MY GPS WORKS LIKE A CHARM EVEN IM INSIDE THE BUILDING THAT WAS ON FIRMWARE 11.X.X.X SOMETHIN, BUT SUDDENLY I GOT NEWS FROM FEED NOKIA HAS MADE A NEW FIRMWARE FOR MY DEVICE WHICH ARE

FIRMWARE 11.X.X.X SOMTHIN

FIRMWARE 12.0.0.24

FIRMWARE 12.0.0.26

AFTER UPDATING MY DEVICE THREE TIMES TO ITS NEW FIRMWARE, IT WAS DEVASTATING, I CRIED!!! MY GPS DONT WORK ANYMORE, BUT IM STILL NOT LOSSING HOPE,

ALTHOUGHT MY PHONE IS ELIGIBLE ON ITS "UNDER WARRANTY SERVICE" I DIDNT YET BROUGHT TO LOCAL NOKIA SERVICE TO FIX IT

I WANNA GIVE A CHANCE AND WAIT THE NEW FIRMWARE 2.0. TO CHECK IF THIS CAN FIX MY PROBLEM. BUT IF THIS NEW FIRMWARE DOESNT FIX MY GPS PROBLEM, I WILL BE FORCE TO CONTACT NOKIA SERVICE HERE AT MY NEAREST LOCATION TO ISSUE MY DEVICE TO UNDER WARRANTY, AND GPS HARDWARE FIX, OR REPLACE MY PHONE BY NOKIA,. WHATSOEVER IT MAYBE THEY COME UP TO SOLUTIONS

PS: I PUT SOME IMAGE BELOW, THIS IS WHAT I ENCOUNTER EVERYTIME I START MY GPS LOCATION, ON MY RECENT FIRMWARE 12.0.0.26

You can't yet because it has not been released yet.

 

The firmware is downloaded using the nokia software updater.

Did u notice? Few minutes back the NSU was down and now when i connect the phone to nsu  at last there is no more the Reinstall options, that means the v 12 is no more there on the server. they are replacing it with the version 2.0 , so wait for sometime , u wont be disappointment.

The NSU servers didn't go down here and v12 is still on the servers.

Just sit back and be patient, it will be ready when it's ready.

Firmware for the N97mini is now on the NSU by the way.
