I live in Trinidad And Tobago. I have   Nokia 5230 Can someone  send me a link to download map for trinidad and tobago i would greatly appreciate it tank u. Ovi Maps Version:3.04

From the Nokia Website, load the 'Maps Loader' application onto your PC.

You then connect your phone to the PC using the USB connection.  When you run the Maps Loader application, it will open up a window with 2 Tabs, 1 called Maps and 1 called Voices.

If you select the Maps option it shows 5 continents, from which you click on the one you require. This will then open up a list of countries that are covered in that continent. Select the one you require and download it. Then select the voices tab and pick the one you require and download it.

Having said all that, I have not seen Trinidad and Tobago listed.  Are you sure those countries are included in the Nokia Data?

Im not sure if trinidad is supported i email nokia to find out. i havent gotten a reply yet

On Nokia Map Loader you will see which countries are included but I cannot see Trinidad listed.

Sorry for my ignorance but is it normally included as part of America or Brazil or neither?

Trinidad is part of the caribbean im not sure if it will be under venzueala

Venezuela is actually listed under the America continent on Map loader so it would be worth loading that and checking it.

You can always delete it later if it is not included.

unfortunately i dont have a data cable but i will try and get one asap

A data cable would not be wasted anyway as it is useful for backing up your data and downloading other applications etc.

You could always use Bluetooth (assuming you have Bluetooth available at your PC) but it is a lot slower to transfer data than the cable.

sadly the Caribbean is not supported in ovi maps. i live in St. Lucia and i always check for updates, but none. 

this is the main reason i stopped using Ovi maps, i have not even upgraded to the latest version. Google maps has the Caribbean mapped down. i can find every street in the Castries, our capital. I hope Ovi get things right soon.

ok i tried the venzuala map when it finds my postions it is listed as trinidad and tobago but i dont any roads,street names ,streets etc ..

That is unfortunate. Probably best to keep trying or even send an email to Nokia from the 'contact us' to see if they intend to add your area. Hope the exams went well!

nokia told me that i have to wait see and to continue checking for updates ..sigh
