My Headsets/Earphones aren't working anymore since Belle update!

You referring to the Wh 701?
You sure they aren't damaged?
From my experiences those headset were of poor quality, by Nokia's standards.
They don't seem to last long; Nokia might have had a lot of bad batches.
I've been through 2 already.

Try them on another phone and see what happens

i also have a WH-701 headset. initially, it was working on my N8 running on belle, then it just stopped working. tried soft reset and my headset worked again. hope it helps.

Hello, I have the same problem for two days now, and a soft reset with *#7780# did nothing to fix this matter.

Nokia Belle devs, please release an update to fix this, as the headset works with Anna and the Galaxy S2.

Hey guys! After many days of continuously searching for a solution and spending money I have found something that works 100% for my Nokia X7 Belle.
I tried all types of headphones but nothing worked. So I went out again and bought the Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-111.
I tried it and it works perfectly! Trust me guys its work buying!

Really? Another sum of money wasted on some headset which needs to be recharged every two days or so? I'd rather stick with something wired which IS RECOGNIZED by the phone's software!

in order to maintain a low profile on the streets, I use an old wh-102 headset on my N8, and it worked - even with a Belle upgrade.

It is possible that the plug in the headset is not plugged all the way in, you should hear a loud click when it is properly plugged in.

I have this problem before, the protective case have a small hole for the headphone jack which prevented the insulator of lhe jack from touching the phone when it is fully plugged in. 

At first I thought the problem is related to the Belle upgrade.  But after I removed it from the protective case, the 3.5 mm jack plugged in with a loud click, and the headset works like a dream.

i was facing the same problem i.e my headset was would not be detected, after upgrading my nokia 500 from nokia belle tp belle refresh. I tried hard and soft resets many times, but nothing worked. Then, i tried to connect my headset in a slow and careful manner. While doing this i plug one of the headsets in my ears in my ear, and i would press the pin slowly and it gets detected. But i have to do this every time.
