Now when I try and Install apps from the store I get fail and fail and fail.  Whats up? Anny suiggestions...?

Hello @flybye,

Have you tried this?;

Shut down and start your phone and then try to open Nokia Store.

Now it should tell you there is a update for your Nokia Store client.

Install it and restart your phone again and vóila!

Server overloaded..?

Likely to be server overload.

I have been on the store, and whilst it was slower than usual (and that's saying something !!) I was able to download and install the new Social Network Client. Sadly, it was hardly worth the bother !

The downloads are a bit slow but seem to work. It's what happens next that is the problem apparently - the installation itself fails. Even a manual de-installation would not work locally. I sort of suspect that is a "smart installer" problem. As the beta of the store in the labs also failed - I am looking over there to see what is said.

Update: Am now able to install from the pc - have d-loaded the beta store client - but the nokia store servers seem to be overloaded at the moment. (-or the client is not working correctly-)

2nd Update. Nokia store is back online - the above problem has resolved itself.

Try uninstalling the "Nokia Smart Installer" application on your phone (under settings > installations > already installed.  Then try new app install.  Worked for me.
