Hello!,

I own a Nokia 6630 S60 smartphone. Recently I connected my phone with that of my friend's via Bluetooth. Ever since my phone has been behaving queerly. So,I decieded to install BitDefender on my mobile phone. Then, when I scaned my phone, my fears were confirmed. It looks like the file at "Z:\system\app\Startup.app" is infected with some kind of Trojan Horse. Bitdefender now wants ,me to delete the file, but I don't want to tamper with any of the files on my phone's flash memory.So, is it safe to delete this file? If not then what other options do I have?

BitDefender is spouting nonsense.

Z: is your phone's ROM and therefore cannot have been infected by anything. The Phone's ROM can only be altered by flashing a new firmware version, not by anything happening over a bluetooth connection.

actually Nokia 6630 S60 phoens CAN get a virus via bluetooth, thats why i always have my phones BT turned off specially when around public locations.....

If I remember correctly, the 6630 is a s60v2 phone and is vulnerable to viruses. Only s60v3 phones and up are not affected. Just do a factory wipe, as it would clean out everything that wasnt on the phone when it came out of the assembly line.
