Easy answer to this:

Search google for reviews/previews of each model, read several about each and decide for yourself which of the two models suits you the best. One phone is only better than the other if it suits your usage the most.

It really is that simple.

If you still want opinions from people on forums I suggest you ask the question on a forum that covers both brands you are interested in.

Dude im in trouble i am just stuck with these three handsets...nokia 500 has flash lite 4 which will support most of the flash contents on a site and a bit good screen 360*680(nHD)...others r quite same like mini...bt if u say abt 1gHz ...i wont be a big factor ...bcoz 600 mhz is not that bad...i saw some youtube video's of mini games...dey r quite fast....and abt Galaxy mini...i will Just say this that Android is currently number one os for mobile...and it has goT over 150000 apps for mini...nokia wouldnt be manage that......bt mini has gt low screen size..no flash and like every1 said bad batrry back up....and abt Price these two models r quite same price...tell me and help where should i go?@phy

You decide which is more important to you, playing cut the rope or a 5mp camera? Using a nicer facebook app or using a better navigation system?

The choice of using an Symbian over Android or vice versa is in the end a matter of priorities. Nokia phones in general have better hardware (not talking about CPU or GPU, just plain radios, camera, build, audio, components, etc) than Android phones, but Android phones have more apps and games.

nokia 500 have 3.2 inch screen...and mini has 3.14....but i am rili confused y nokia's 500 luks wider dan mini.....!

As of now, Nokia has said that the belle update will be available for phones that are running Anna now. But as far as I remember, it didn't have the 500 in the list. But an announcement regarding this may be made later. GPU is nothing but graphics processing unit. It is required for playing high definition games... Hope this helps...

What so ever SAMSUNG offers NOKIA is rocking in all fields like Hardware Quality, Support and features. SAMSUNG sucks in all above fields.

K do not believe me or anyone else who is support of NOKIA. Just ask for proper User Manual from SAMSUNG for any of the handsets. 99.9% features are not explained in the manual. You need to learn by hit and trial. Moreover, 99.9% mobiles upto 15k does not support PC backup of contacts. Menus are damn confusing and useless.

I already wasted around INR 1,00,000 on useless SAMSUNG phones. If you still wanna go for SAMSUNG (any phone) just remember to learn everything (even untold truths) first.

Though, I am CDMA fan but as NOKIA is no more in CDMA I am forced to use GSM. I wish NOKIA re-start production of CDMA handsets.
