death of Nokia N8?

Hi there my Nokia N8 is just showing the breathing menu light like i have a new text but the screen is blank and no buttons are working to either switch off the phone or anything please help my N8 is currently using Symbian Belle, please help ? :/

Keep power button pressed for as long as phone vibrates 3 times (about 8 seconds). Then try to switch power on again and see if that helps.

Hey Ali99, Welcome to the Nokia Forum!

Please could you hold down the power button and attempt to turn off your device.

 

If you are unable to turn it off using just the power button please wait for your phones battery to run out.

Once your device has no power left please plug your phone into your computer via USB and using Nokia suite back up your device and reinstall the operating system. 

 

If you are still unable to get your device to operate properly please take it to your local Nokia Care point to be repaired by a specialist.
