my N8 turned off and not turning back on

phone's battery was fully charged, earlier today it turned off while i was in the middle of a call. pressed the power button and it turned on normally.

a while ago i took it out of my jacket's pocket to find it off. tried the 8 second power push, no use.

also tried the 3 button reset... no use either.

an ideas on how to solve it before i send it to nokia care?

they take a week or probably more to have it fixed !!!

Maybe in a few hours it'll come alive again but the sign isn't good as it'd seem the typichal pre-death behavoiur.

When pressing for 8 secs don't you feel the 3 vibrations at all?

Anyway, the hard reset is 4 buttons.

Keep  menu  + camera + volume down pressed. Press power button and as you feel the vibration release it but don't release the other three till you see the either the Nokia shakehand or the sim code digit keyboard (admitted they'll appear....)

thanks puasho, but nothing... nothing at all

tried pressing the power button, then holding it for 8 seconds and more

still nothing

used the hard reset... still nothing. no vibration and screen remains black, nothing at all.

i plug in the charger, still nothing

i use the USB port, light on the side doesn't light up either.

do I have a totally DEAD phone?

when going to Nokia, should i have it fixed or not settle for anything except for a brand new phone ?

note: phone is less than a month old and in a totally mint condition

Well, say dead is to say the least.... It's so strange you don't even get the vibration....

Sure, at his point it's clinically dead...next move left...just bring it's corpse to NCC
