hi all i bought the n95 8g but i see that its battery is being empty rapidly , it works for one day and then it is empty by the end of the day,
the happened to me many times
is that natural or not?

and is it made in japan. please tell me your opinion

The N95 8GB should typically last more than a day. It does depend on how much you use your phone of course. How much are you using your phone?

For me, I tend to spend about, say, 10 mins of phone calls, half hour of data access, a dozen photos. Usually have at least 6 battery bars left (though of course it declines rapidly the next day so I recharge every day anyway).

If your handset is running several things in the background and if you have switched on loads of things that you're not using, then the battery will be depleted rapidly.

Turn off infrared, Bluetooth and WiFi if you're not using them.

Make sure no applications are running in the background: depress and hold the menu key for a few seconds and a list of applications running will appear - "Standby" should be the only thing listed.

Another thing to try is to install Energy Profiler to check the amount of power the phone is drawing. Mine, under idle conditions, seems to hover about 0.1W. I have 3G turned on, Bluetooth on, no WLAN searching.

I just got my N95 8GB and I am almost sure it will last more than a day. Lets see what happens.

The battery in mine lasts 2 or 3 days with moderate use.

Before 4 months my battery stays about 2 days. now become only 7-8 hours....... I already buy another 2pcs battery but same result. maybe need to visit fu..ng nokia care. I hate nokia care, they took too much time & put some scratch some times.

Try to find another nsc. Mine is really helpful.

Before time they puts clear scratch on my N80. Also they use that mobile personally few days. When I asked them they told me for checking properly they need to do this..... Any way this time maybe I need to go for battery
