I've noticed a few people posting on Facebook fan pages for Nokia N97 orig and mini that the NEWS FEED and WALL pages are blank, yet you can login and view other pages such as FRIENDS, PHOTOS and INBOX.

When refreshing NEWS FEED and WALL, the page refreshes with no error, but does not display anything.

I changed all my facebook privacy settings to defaults in case that was the problem, but no luck. Also confirmed that the NOKIA application was allowed to access information in my facebook account.

Any suggestions?

i have the exact same issue on a n97 and a mini. both load now and again. Nokia having problems loading this info???

i've had it working maybe 3 seperate occasions in the last 4 days. getting annoying now!

I suffer these issues also. This is not an app designed by nokia but they do have a good app which works with twitter as well as facebook. You can download it from nokia beta labs or from the ovi store. Just search for facebook and it's called "facebook and twitter for nokia". Once its installed, you'll find it in your applications and it's called "commuunities". I find it to be a much better app. :-)

Probably Facebook changed something and now widget is not compatible. Try to download it again, maybe there was an update.

I haven't used the standard Facebook app for over a year ! Try Nokia Social Messaging from beta labs (as mentioned) also Socially really good as an alternative, I use both.

I've also been having problems with the FB widget for a few weeks now.  The problems tend to be intermittent, but is happening so often that it is getting really annoying.  I've recently switched to the Nokia Social Messaging beta.  It works well and does both FB and Twitter, although it is a bit slower.  Better slow data than no data.

Me too face the same problem. Sometimes it just works fine. I find the mobile version of facebook better than this app.
