network connection issue

I usually get 3 or 4 bars 3.5G on my nokia 5800 but it will sometimes very suddenly drop to no bars and stay there for up to 15 mins before finally connecting with 1 or 2 bars 2G. Is this a phone or network issue?

Re: network connection issue

If the phone is picking up 4-5 bars I would suggest it's probably a network issue. You could try removing the sim, restart phone, then re-insert the sim again, should reset your network connection and may help. You could also contact your provider and see if there are any issues.

Good Luck

Re: network connection issue

I could manually switch off 3G but i shouldn't have to really plus i use it often when i get signal which isn't too bad in most areas, the problem seems to be when 3G signal is lost.
