Hi there, i have just bourght a nokia 5230 phone, and loving it, but i am using my phone as my morning alarm clock, and when trying to hit "snooze" or "stop alarm" on the display nothing happens, i can feel that the phone clicks when touching the fields on the display, but nothing happens :-(

The only thing i can do is push the "red" button on the phone witch make the phone snooze

I can's turn on the display

If i have turnd on the display whn the alarm starts, i can touch the fields on the screen, and it works

Does any one know if this is a bug or there is a solution ??

you can't "HIT" the button to snooze or stop alarm

you must "SWIPE YOUR FINGER" to do that

OMG! Thank you very, very much!!!! This alarm thing was so annoying that I wanted to throw my phone out the window!  And the solution... ugh, I would never guess.

You're a star!  You'd think with the amount of people that this has driven mad, me included, Nokia would change it.  Besides, who would think to swipe when they are half asleep.....

On my 5800 and can press the button "Snooze" if i am using the phone when i have the phone set to alarm at some time. But if i have the homescreen first i have to swipe.

Fantastic, also works to answer calls. This was not a problem until the last software upgrade.

I updated my phone software and Nokia seem to have changed the design of the alarm stop and snooze function so I hope that solves the problem. No swiping.

OMG now i do know the logic.... since couple of days , i am jus swiping the alarm to close and goin' back to sleep peacefully ... this is disaster..
