I just brought a new nokia n8  . . . & from the start its temperature is little hot, even if i do normal works like watching movies, when on the net etc.

the temperature rises mainly in both the sides of the mobile .

while charging its temperature rises even more ?

so just wanted to ask that its normal or there is some fault ???

Welcome to the forum!

You would normally expect to feel warmth more so on back of device nearest to battery as current consumption of device rises and there is a rise in battery temperature when charging even if device on standby.

if you feel that the temperature is too warm for you to handle the device, take it to a Nokia Care Point to check the device.

thanks for the help & info . . . but i always feel the phone warm even when keept for a long time on stand by doing nothing ! [note - the phone is not to not that i cant even touch it xd]

also can u tell me why the gps of the phone slow ??

can u tell me when the new update to symbian anna would be out for n8 . . .

good thing - n8 is one of the best phones i ever came accross from nokia . . .
