the nokia n8 has a variety of problems after i update to anna when it turn it on it says start up error then a error sound and pop up show and it struggles wid app downloads and fails sometimes am i the only person ?

Was this an incremental FOTA update via SW update or installing complete software using Nokia/Ovi Suite? If the former sometimes resetting device and re-installing existing software can help.

it was a complete update using ovi suite

 Did you also install the two further Applications 1/2 & 2/2 updates? If not, connect your phone to Nokia Suite and install those two updates.
