When I try to verify mail forwarding or change my password I am always sent to the https://login.yahoo.com for password veryfication.
The problem is I can sign in my ovi-mail only at https://mail.ovi.com, but I can't sign in at https://login.yahoo.com. I don't know why?!
Furhtermore, when I sign in mail.ovi.com, I am always sent to sign in account.nokia.com addiotionally. Why do I need to sign in nokia account while I want to enter my mail.ovi.com alledgedly for the reason that my passwords at mail.ovi and nokia account are not the same??

Hi chechako,
Welcome to the discussions board!
In order to log in to your Nokia Mail account successfully, please follow the steps as described below:
1) First of all, make sure you have access to your general Nokia account: go to www.ovi.com, select the "store" icon and click on "sign in".
If your password is not valid, select the "Forgotten your password" link and set up a new password.
Then repeat step one.
2) Once you are signed in to Nokia Store successfully you will be able to sign in to Nokia Mail. From the Nokia Store page you can access it by clicking on Account > Nokia Services > Mail.
3) In fact you can sign into your Nokia Mail account from mail.yahoo.com. To do that, make sure you enter your full e-mail address in the Yahoo! ID field - example@ovi.com -.
If you need further assistance or have any more queries, please post your questions.
Regards,

Hi same problem here and none of earlier listed actions do not help. After a few days without access to mails thru website (Lumia 800 can access though) this starts to bugging me almost enough to quit ovi usage totally = (.

Hi all,
Exactly same problem for me, can't connect anymore to the Nokia Ovi Mail by Webmail in desktop mode and by IMAP.
By the way, I can connect to the Webmail in mobile mode (just forced this type of connection pointing to m.yahoo.com, and clicking on the mail word in the top right corner).
THE BEST PART !!! Now all mails between the 11 November 2011 and the 20 July 2012 are LOST !!!
Tried to contact Yahoo Support, the answer was I need to contact a Special Team named The Ovi Team.
Then I have sent a support ticket n° 1-1308014855 the 25 July 2012, to the Special Team,I have no answer since this opened ticket ...
This mail account is the one I use to receive many mails acknowlegment for my purchases, it' totaly amazing Nokia leave there customers in a so badly position.
I attach the complete support request sent to the Nokia Ovi Support via the form of the support web site ...
Also searching for same troubles behavior on google, always ending to same many answers without fixing the problem at all ...
Damn, Nokia, please, try to support properly your customers ...
Cordialy.

Oh ...
I thinking about to create a Screencast about the problem for the Webmail in Desktop mode looping on login, like that, even a retarded guy can understand ...
Screencast Ovi Mail by Yahoo Troubles Looping on Authentication
Hope it help The Special Team to understand and fix the problem ...

Hi,
it seems also that you NEVER have to check the "always use the https" option. I just check this option and now, I'm unable to log into my account.
I'm sign in on this page http://nokiamail.com
IE always tries to open this page : https://fr-mg6.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch
Firefox and Chrome immediatly send an error message :
"Erreur 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS) : Trop de redirections"
So, if the mail team (by Nokia or Yahoo) can correct this, it will be great....
On Windows 7 x64 Pro :
- IE v9.0.8112.16421,
- Google Chrome Version 23.0.1271.64 m,
- Firefox 17.0 Beta 6 (20121113065533)
Regards,
Olivier

10 days later, no help, no change?
It's always the same error message : too many redirections.....
Can you just do your work on the web site??????

Olivier

If you count on someone on this forum taking care of our problem, just look the date of my last post explaining in deep the trouble ...
Sadly Nokia is sinking and don't care anymore about customers.
Even if there is someone from Nokia reading this thread, I doubt there is someone with the skill to manage the problem.

I have a similar issue and need help.
I setup a pair of accounts for use by my children. These were both @nokiamail.com accounts.
We used these for a few weeks without problem and now they have disapeared. The user ID just is not recognised. I cant even request a password reminder as the account is not recognised.
What can i Do? I tried going to ww.ovi.com as suggested at the top of this thread, but that site doesnt seem to exist.
What should I do?

Thank you for contacting Yahoo! Mail.
Thanks for contacting Yahoo! Customer Care regarding Ovi Chat/Ovi Mail.
Support for Ovi is handled by a special team that is ready to help you.
The preferred method is to submit a case to Nokia via their support
website. Here is how to do that:
1. Go to:
http://support.ovi.com/osc/en_GB/home
2. Sign in or register.
3. Select "Contact Us."
4. Complete the Contact Us form and select "Send."
Another method is to look up the telephone number of the local Contact
Center. Here is how to do that:
1. Go to:
http://www.nokia.com/support
2. Select Contact Us.
In most countries, you should then have the option to either call the
nearest Nokia Contact Center or submit a case via the Web.
Additional information on this, and other Yahoo! products, can be found on
the Yahoo! help page (http://help.yahoo.com/) .
If you have any further concerns regarding this issue Mike, please let me
know and I will be happy to assist you.
Thanks,
Jason
