It looks like there have been some changes on the Ovi store site lately and I'm having some problems since then (with the Firefox browser).
1. When listing My Stuff there used to be a box to tick at each item and then you could remove the selected items from the list. This is not possible anymore - is this by purpose?
2. When you click the Send to mobile button to install some application a new window pops up with options to Send free SMS or Download on PC (it says BETA!!!). This is much welcomed functionality but unfortunately the button to Download to PC is not active when using Firefox (even if I have Ovi Suite running and phone connected). This works nice when using IE 9. Will this functionality be available with Firefox as well?

1. Even in IE8 its the same as you mention.. no more options but ONLY the list...
2. The problem seems to be with certain applications.. First I thought this doesn't work for Paid applications but only works for the Free ones. But after reading your thread tried both Browsers and some particular applications doesn't give this 'Download to PC' working even with IE8. As you can see in the attachment it works on FireFox too but for some only..

I have also noticed that the checkboxes have been removed from my stuff. I don't know why they are removed but I would like to get them back.
It was easy to remove apps from the list which were uninstalled from the phone.
Now, if you just want to try some app, it is in the list for stay. I think it is not a good thing!

Could you please name some applications that you found out working with Firefox so I can try this?

As seen in the Attachment (the topmost line..) in my earlier post..'World of Rabbit' is the one I tried after reading your post..

Don't know what is happening then: I have the latest Ovi Suite on my Windows 7 Prof 64bit PC but no matter what I try, Firefox 6.01 just keeps the "download to PC" grayed out. With or without the add-on that is available for it.
When I try IE it just works fine. So somehow still problems for some with Firefox and the download to PC feature on Ovi Store.

Even 'World of Rabbit' does not work for me. I've tried Vista/FF 4 and Win7/FF 6.0.1 with no luck. It looks like this is not intended to be used with the FF browser
, right Nokia?

OK, after some more research I found out this (on my Vista system with Firefox 4).
1. The main problem seems to be the NoScript extension (version 2.1.2.6). If this is enabled the 'Download on PC' does not work for ANY application (happens even if I have Allow Scripts Globally set!).
2. When this extension is disabled it looks like this functionality works even in Firefox, but ...
3. ... there are some applications that don't work even in this case. Also the same applications are not working in IE 9. So it seems that this depends on the application itself and not on the Ovi.store. At least Nokia could inform users about this new stuff and potential problems.
So here are some applications that DO work:
- X-plore, Nokia Battery Monitor 2.0, GPS Info Qt, Bloomberg, AccuWeather
and then some that DON'T work:
- Skype, Favorite Apps, Sports Tracker, Nokia Panorama, BeeTagg, Fring
Now to find out if some of the NoScript extension's options will eventually make this work in Firefox as expected.

Right, the culprit is the ABE settings in the NoScript options. When it looks like in the attachment the (selected) applications can be downloaded on the PC and then installed.
Hope this helps others too.
