I'm trying to backup my phone so I can update the firmware but I keep losing connection at 90% (regardless of whether I'm using the datacable or bluetooth).

Any ideas as to a fix?
64bit XP won't let me install 6.7.22.

Syncing & data transfers seem OK.

Also tried installing 6.7.22 & 6.82.22 to my Sony Vaio PCG-FX902P but neither will recognise my phone via cable or Bluetooth.

Going nuts here.

OK. Used the cleaner on both PCs to wipe registry/files and start again. Still can't backup. New results...

In every case, I rebooted both the PC and the phone to make sure a previous attempt didn't leave any problems.

Have you tried without memory card?

And what it backup when connection lost happen?

At last. Thanks. Took the memory card out and weyhey!

If you're still interested, it used to regualarly fail at "90% complete - Full Backup".
