Lately I've been having trouble getting my Nokia 6500s to function correctly with Nokia PC Suite via Bluetooth. PC Suite will detect the phone correctly via Bluetooth however the messages and calendar entries do not appear. Also, when I access the File Manager, it will come up with a dialog box saying "The mobile phone rejected the operation". When I connect the phone to PC Suite through USB everything will work correctly, so it is just Bluetooth with the issues. I can tell that it is an issue on the PC Suite end as when I use the phone's Bluetooth via BlueSoleil everything will function correctly via that program. These are the specs that appear when I go to Help > About (which should hopefully help):
PC Connectivity Solution: Version 126.96.36.199
[Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver:] Version 188.8.131.52
Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP 32-bit Edition, Service Pack 3 Language: English Language for non-Unicode programs: English
Detected Internet browsers: - Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 - Mozilla Firefox 3.0 (Default browser)
Detected Bluetooth stacks: - Microsoft (Version: 5.1.2600, Build: 5512) - IVT BlueSoleil (Version: 6.4.237, Build: 0)
as you see on this side http://europe.nokia.com/A4678152 NPCS 7.1 cooperates with IVT BlueSoleil Bluetooth stack, driver version 3.x and 5.0.5 not higher. Then if you want to connect your phone with NPCS over BT you have to downgrade BT driver to v.5.0.5
