Nokia 5230 Won't Connect To Nokia Suite

Hey, I run Windows Vista service pack 2 and Nokia Suite version 3.7.22 and try to connect my Nokia 5230 via USB.

When I have my phone connected via Media/Image transfer and mass storage modes, my computer recognizes it and Nokia Suite tell me to connect it in PC Suite mode. I do so and my computer no longer recognizes my phone. I've tried restarting my phone, going back to the default theme (sometimes the downloaded themes prevent me from sending text messages so I tried it). Is there any way I can get my phone to connect to the Nokia Suite without completely resetting my phone?

Do you have the ability to try establishing Bluetooth connectivity first and then swap to USB?

Symbian specialist until 31/01/2013 with interests in Maemo & MeeGo but an aversion to Windows!

I don't think my computer has bluetooth.

You may get a Bluetooth USB Dongle for something around USD 4 - 5 .. Insert that in the USB port on your PC and you should be fine ...
