Hello, I need your help.
I don't really know what is the problem...
I have bought Nokia 5230. I have gprs internet. And first time I have connected to my laptop via bluetooth. And I have used One touch internet connection via bluetooth without any problems(I have used it once).
When I tried once more... It didn't work and it's not working now.
All features of Nokia PC suite are available and working well.
But when I try to connect to the internet, it says: "Failed to connect to the network! One Touch Access could not connect to the selected device".
I don't exactly know what happend and what is going on. But it doesn't work now both via bluetooth and micro-usb.
I used to use my Nokia 3500c as a modem in "Nokia One touch access" before. (from the 24th of june 2010 I have Nokia 5230).
I have tried to solve this problem. I.e. I have downloaded the latest version of PC Suite. But it didn't help.
What can you advice?
I forgot. Some system information.
Windows XP Pro SP 3 v.2002
Nokia PC Suite 188.8.131.52
Connection method - cable and/or bluetooth?
P.S.: I'm almost 100% sure that if I try to connect to the internet from Ubuntu it will be available. Nokia 3500c worked fine without any drivers and additional programs. With symbian device it can be a bit different, but not difficult, I suppose.
I have already visited device manager. There I have 2 Portable devices:
device type: portable devices
distribution: Nokia Device Bus
Microsoft, developed in 22.02.2006, version 5.2.5326.4762.
device type: portable devices
device status: The device is disabled. (Code 22) Click "Add" to use this device.
Nokia, developed in 13.04.2010, version 184.108.40.206, digital signature - Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher.
And I cannot connect this (second) device.
What should I do?

So go to network connections and delete ALL OF THEM.
Uninstall PC Suite(Everything with the name of Nokia), Clean Windows registry (CCleaner), reboot , Reinstall PC Suite, (You can also try Ovi Suite), use USB Cable Connection to phone and try to connect one touch access. (Obviously configure it before connecting)
I have tried it in ubuntu. The same problem.
So, we can say it's not the problem of computer side.
What options on the phone can cause this situation?
When computer tries to establish internet connection and after that I can see on my phone symbol of internet connection but with dotted lines.
I hope I'll visit nokia care point tomorrow because I need to install one more language on my phone and also because of this problem.
Have you any more ideas?

"nm doesn't detect my phone anymore"
not even after rebooting both PC and Phone?
Make Sure you are not using USB HUB or Extension.
and if your are not, then i suppose problem is at phone's end.
If you want to try something yourself, try Soft reset; Dial this code as normal phone number *#7370# enter ur lock code, Default is 12345.
it'll wipe C/Phone memory, so BACK UP DATA FIRST, (MANUALLY, means not as *.nbu file, but sync all ur important information from phone in PC Suite, Contacts, msgs etc)
Otherwise you'r planing to visit Nokia Care Point you mentioned, they'll hopefully fix it.
Good Luck .
Thanks, I'll try. And Nokia care point is not for me... I have expected it. But... Not so expensive...
One more language costs 30 euro. I haven't even asked anything about internet connection. Sorry, it is money for me...
Thanks a lot. I'll write about my results after another try...
