Nokia pc suite 7.0.7.0 and arabic non-unicod

I have faced a problem with Nokia pc suite 7.0.7.0 (both english and arabic versions )with arabic language reading or wiriting messages .
I am using windows xp sp3 .
After alot of search I have found that this problem is common with no guide to solve this problem .
for examples these topics :
1- /discussions/board/message?board.id=pcsuite&messag
2-/discussions/board/message?board.id=pcsuite&messag
I worked at this problem and found that the latest version of pc suite doesn't support unicode language .
when i changed language for non-Unicode programs from Arabic to English the problem dissappeared .
but i cann't use english so long as this cause several probelms to me with language .
Now i need to know is this was just an error in the new version and the developer team is going to slove it ?
or the program will be for ever does not support unicode language ?

Hi,
I am on vista (English) and I used to have the same problem with Nokia pc suit 7.
Changing local language from Arabic to English solved the problem and had no effect on other programmes with Arabic menues.

I have WinXP SP3 and I am using Nokia pc suite 7.1
I have the same problem and Arabic messages appear in strange characters.
I hope the support team solves this problem at the next version.

I tried using Nokia Ovi Suite and it works ok.
It has most of capabilities of PC Suite.

1. Control panel>Click to open Region and Language. 2. Click the Administrative tab, and then, under Language for non-Unicode programs, click Change system locale. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 3. Select the english, and then click OK. To restart your computer, click Restart now.
