I have E61 latest version PC Suite, now after working properly PC Suite does not connect even though it is listed, but the the sync icon turns green and syncs fine, any ideas ?

What is your PC Suite version?
(Right-click over PC Suite tray icon and select "About Nokia PC Suite")

And do you mean that PC Suite tray icon does not change when phone is connected?

I am using 6.80.22 No actually what happens is even though it shows I am connected hence I can sync It continues to look for connection and says not connected, so I cannot use anything in the applications in PC Suite.

Install the newest PC Suite 6.81.13.

Could you tell me please if it is possible to use PC Suite 6.81.13. with the Nokia 6600, I know that it is not in the list, but I can not connect to my PC via bluetooth using the old PC suite version. The main feature I want to use - is to connect my PC to internet through GPRS. May be you can comment what is the best way to establish such connection.

PC Suite 6.81.13 will not work with Nokia 6600, unfortunately. I have not ever used 6600, so no experience about the modem usage eighter, but you should be able to use it with normal windows dial up and use the Bluetooth software you have in your PC to install the Bluetooth modem first.

OK, here is a strange one. I have installed the latest version of PC Suite, and everything works well. However the Phone icon in task tray still has red X in it and one PC Suite is open it still says trying to connect, my phone E61 is listed it transfers music, vids and syncs contacts and calander, all the time showing trying to connect and the Icon X'd out in red?

Any clue to this anyone.

Try this: open Nokia PC Suite > File > Exit > OK. and then start it again: Click Start > All Programs > Nokia PC Suite > Nokia PC Suite ----> Does it now shows your phone?
