Hi ,

I'm looking for a sw or feature that will enable me to answer the phone via the pc mic and speakers as the phone is hokked to the pc via BT or cable.

Is that possible??

With PC Suite 7.1 you can answer incoming calls (if your phone is supported one).

As per nokia pc suite settings, after connecting my phone, i can check if my phone supports notification for new incoming call, message and battery level etc., But what about making calls / answering calls from pc suite, where will i find if my connected phone supports this feature or not. Because when i checked in nokia communication centre, while selecting a contact i saw an option called call, but if i tried to call that contact, i receive error message If my option is not supported this feature why its enabled (not greyed???), if its supported why i am getting error message. my phone is n82, xp sp2, cable ca-101 ... Any help appreciated

Hi Phonatic,
Yes you may use PC suite to make and receive calls. But it would work best with cable connectiion as compared to Bluetooth connection. Sometimes you will have problem to make call and that is when you need to restart PC suite...

Hi, How did you make the notifications work? The nokia 6021 enable the notification without action, but the n82 don't work. How to enable this?

Are there any software to install on the n82?

If you are talking about making a call/answering a phone via pc, at the moment, there is no notification kind of thing as far as i know in current 7.1.18.0 version, may be we can expect the same in upcoming new versions of Nokia PC Suites   Keep awaiting

I talking about the notifications. It is visible with my nokia 6021 but not with the n82.

Could you please check this issue in latest pc suite?

If your phone supports only i guess that option is available, else the option will be greyed out or you can't use them.  Please cross verify and let me know regarding the same

Well, I have rather old model, 5500 fold, and evrything works fine with PC suit, I can send and receive messages via PC. I do have "call" option in the Suite, but when I click on it the call is actually not being made using pc's mic and speakers, but through the phone itself (connected via bluetooth)??!!
