Nokia website states that you are able to connect your Nokia Lumia 610 to your Mac computer if you are running Mac OSX 10.6.6 or above. Yet, when you go to the Apps store to download it, it states that Mac OSX 10.7 is required. Where can I access the version needed for my phone? I would be very grateful for any suggestions. Otherwise, I feel that I have grounds for returning the phone as the information on the Nokia website is incorrect. It seems that you are only able to download Windows Phone 7 Connector if your Mac is running version Mac OSX 10.7.

The website has a disclaimer which states that you can't claim any rights based on the contents and also that Nokia is not accountable for (obvious) errors.
It has been widely stated and known that since the latest update of this app, which was made by Microsoft, OS X 10.7 is the minimum requirement which in all fairness is not unreasonable.
Again as this application is a Microsoft product I suggest you go talk to them on this.

I have a similar problem as jvmacy. Have anyone find old version of windows phone 7 connector for Mac?
My Mac is running OS X 10.6, and can't be updated to Lion (10.7) without great difficulties with functionality. I don't want to pay for new Mac because of Lumia.

It never worked for me on two OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard machines with three Lumia Windows Phone 7.5 devices!

You need to look for Windows Phone Connector version 0.6 beta
it's a very old version of the software but at least it works on OS X 10.6,
it works for my Lumia 710 (haven't tested all the synch features though).

I have the same problem. Snow Leopard (10.6) is rock solid on both my Macs, and I'm pretty sure some of my tried-and-true software won't work with Mountain Lion (10.7). As a pro video editor, this is not a trivial issue. Upgrading to 10.7 is cheap ($20) but the time wasted if I run into problems is worth much more. My daughter's Lumia 710 needs to be re-set or upgraded to fix a wifi issue, but without being able to back up all her data, it looks like we're stuck!
