i can no longer access one of my two BT email accounts (one is working fine) via the mail app. After repeated 'communication error' messages, I deleted the problem acccount and tried to reinstall it. But when I try 'Add Account' and input my email address and password, I get the message 'check your sign-in details and try again later'. My sign-in details are correct! I've had the phone for a year or so and it was fine up until a month ago. I'm bafffled so any advice would be welcome. I'm a bit of a tech simpleton so am I missing something really obvious?.

I've been having exactly the same problem for a few days. I use Telstra Bigpond in Australia and would be very grateful for any solution.
As the phone clearly didn't like my email login, I finally sorted the problem by changing my email account password. I was then able to add the account to Mail again. Weird
