Since last week, all messages posted from my Lumia 800 to Facebook have been posted with the 'Only Me' privacy setting. Previously I was able to post no problem with the Privacy set as 'Public'.

As far as I can see there are no options on the phone for privacy settings, and others that I know using Lumia phones have no problems sending messages to Facebook.

Does anyone know what could be causing this, and what the solution would be. I am posting messages from the 'Me Tile' and not from a Facebook app, though if I post from a Facebook app I have the same problem.

Nothing you can do about this except perhaps change the default privacy settings in your Facebook account on a PC. You can always leave feedback with Microsoft themselves at http://windowsphone.uservoice.com

Thanks, but have been through Facebook settings on a PC as well and found nothing there. Will try the Microsoft Route, as getting nowhere with Nokia support services. Having to go through Facebook every day to change the settings on all my posts from Lumia 800 is sending me nuts

I have encountered this one wherein all my post created under Hotmail are set to "Only Me". You can try to check these settings and see if it will make any difference:

Go to Hotmail>Sign in your account>Under Messenger Social>Click on Add>Manage services

You will have a list of linked accounts to your Microsoft account. Under Facebook, click on Edit and put a check mark to "Share to Facebook".
