In my work I am using different nokia phones. I testing different videosamples on new arrived Nokia 700 (Belle). I collected videosamples from N9, X7, C7, E7. There are for example:
Nokia Pure, Wild Ocean ROW, The Ride demo video clips. I can notice that Nokia 700 cannot play audio for all these video clips. I have also several mp4 video files taken from different phones. Some of them cannot show video, one cannot play sound, and only 2 works OK.
Flash video files with ".flv" extention shows fine but I cannot rewind video properly. After I rewind first time e.g. on the middle, it works, second attempt to rewind just freezes video forever.
All viideo files described above plays fine on the Nokia N8 with latest Anna firmware upgraded.
The question: Why Belle device has so little codecs support in comparison to old perfect Anna nokia N8 phone? When to expect update of codecs for Belle firmware (and flash player fix for flv files rewind)?

just received new firmware update from Nokia. Nothing changed. The phone just cannot play different video/audio formats. Very dissapointed.

"the only option is to covert the audio or video" - it is not the only and not the best option. I know another one: use old Nokia N8 or switch to android 2.3 phones , they can play all kind of video and audio files.
I can see that Elop messed up a lot in company after february this year. How Belle firmware can have less codecs that Anna? I am sorry about Nokia and their employees.
