You cant find skype for nokia c3-00 in the official site , becouse it hasnt OS(Its s40v6). You can use Nimbuzz or fring . You can use Skype IM to , but only for chat. You can find it here .

Hi, I was using this for 3 months so I can answer the question. I think that the actuality of C3-00 questions is way down by now but still.

Any way, C3-00 has the VoIP (Voice over IP) telephony locked. It has nothing to do with technical limitations, it  is a deliberate marketing move to get phone providers support and %% for budget phone series. So don't waste your time by searching or by begging Skype/Nokia to do something.

If sor some reason you are not readu to migrate to some other model, there is a partial but functional solution. You still can find Skype 1.0.5 beta Java version. It works just fine on C3-00. Unfortunately by default you can only text chat with others BUT others can call you over Skype and you can pick up the calls. I got my copy from here:

Copy, upload to the root directory of your phone memory card, navigate (using for instance Menu->Applications->Extras->Memory card) and launch. Do NOT agree on update when proposed. Ask one of your Skype contacts to call you. Enjoy! (at least partially :-)

i have posted info about how to CALL Skype with Nokia C3-01 and X3-02 ( NOT C3-00 ! ) several times and was blamed for advertising, and I'll take my chance again:

This is only for calling, NOT for chat ( IM ) on Skype - to chat you can download Java Skype a.k.a. Skype Lite but you can't make calls with it.

If you've download skype for C3 and has this .ext extension, change the ".ext" to ".jar". It should work. That's what I did mine and it's working perfectly.

Finally i found a solution for all users of nokia c3 00 who wants to contact their friends on skype but who want to make callls it will be paid by the phone credit it's a freeware of sonyericson w910i and this is the link of download page http://mobprogs.com/skype.jar

Perfect solution. Been trying for ages to get Skype to run on my Nokia C3-00 to no avail. Zidi's solution is dead simple just follow his link on your phone and away you go. Works here in Scotland on Vodafone and off my BT home hub via wi-fi.

For Nokia C3-00 this method is not working, and you also can't download Skype for chat to any Nokia S40 phone, because Microsoft switched it off completely.
